I made this little matchbook card using Lifestyle Crafts diecuts, a Tim Holtz number plaque and paper, a button, yarn, fabric and of course, a Prima flower.

My Cards and Tags: Featured Guest Artist in The Stampers' Sampler
Feb/Mar 2012: The Stampers' Sampler. Featured Guest Artist. For this issue, I was honored to be chosen as the featured Guest Artist in which several of my cards (including the one on the cover) were published. The editors were great to work with and I treasure this issue (I'm biased, of course)!
Thirteen of my cards were featured, but these first two are my favorites. As you can see, I love to play with fabric and stitching.
Here are some of the others that made the cut:

My Other Creations: A Monster Trio
Winter 2011: Stuffed, Monster Trio. In this issue, three of my little monsters were published. One's in a house next to a thriving "Idea Tree," (wouldn't that be nice), one's in a boat ready for adventure, and the last is just kind of lazily watching the world go by.
Here's my Monster Trio:

My Other Creations: Lip Gloss Tin Book
Premiere Issue 2011: Cloth Paper Scissors Pages, Lip Gloss Tin Book. I made this tin book out of a bright shiny silver lip gloss tin. The hardest part was getting the greasy lip gloss completely cleaned out of it! I distressed the metal and made bottle cap and flower pages. The book's message says, "Ladies: Don't let them take the beauty of you." Amen!
Here's a close up of the book's cover:

My Other Creations: Christmas Card and Gift Card Tin
Nov/Dec 2011: The Stampers' Sampler. Christmas card and gift card tin. Here's a Christmas card and gift card tin of mine that made it into the issue. If you ever want to know what materials I used in any of these projects, let me know!

My Other Creations: My Pandora's Box
Summer 2011: Stuffed. I was ecstatic to make it into a Stampington & Co publication because I pretty much love everything that company cranks out. I made a Pandora's Box with monsters representing the different demons I struggle with.
Here's what my project looked like:

My Cards and Tags: "Flying Elf" Card (Cover)
Dec/Jan 2011: The Stampers' Sampler. "Flying Elf" card. The great thing about this publication was that it was totally unexpected. I sent the card in, didn't hear a peep and the next thing I knew, the magazine came in the mail and my card was on the cover.

My Other Creations: Quirky Wire Houses (Cover)
Nov/Dec 2010: Cloth Paper Scissors. Quirky Wire Houses. Look at me on the cover! Well, not ME, but my houses. I made them out of dyed dryer sheets and cookie cooling racks.

My Other Creations: "Life's a Beach" Chipboard Album
July/August 2009: Cloth Paper Scissors. "Life's a Beach" Reader's Challenge. For my first magazine submission ever, I made a chipboard house whose roof was a book of beach photos. Leave it to the beach to give me the courage I needed to submit something for publication. Long live the sand and the surf!
