My Cards and Tags: Simon Says Stamp Believe in the Season Holiday Release

We're finally having sweater weather and thinking about all things holiday!  Yay!  And to get us in figgy pudding mode,  Simon Says Stamp has just released a fabulous collection called, "Believe in the Season."  I do love a good Christmas tree, so I made this card using the oh-so-elegant Corbel Tree Collage die.

I love how you can see little peeks of whatever you put behind this die.  In my case I smudged some pink ink on the background card and added some sequins.  The front is streaks of ink that were softened with white paint.  To finish off the card, I thought that some other Simon dies looked fabulous with the tree, namely the Maryanne snowflake, snowflakes cut from the Snowflake Banner, and the Merry Christmas die.

Christmas will be here before we know it, so I could use my post-Halloween sugar highs to try and fuel some holiday projects.  Heck!  Maybe this will be the year that I get my Christmas cards done before December 23rd.  Ha, ha!  Riiiiight.  Just a little humor for you there.
