My Other Creations: Notebooks Made with Dylusions Creative Dyary Tape and Dylusions paint

This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge theme is to make a trio of something.  And we're also featuring Dylusions products.  I made three mini notebooks using Creative Dyary Tape and Dylusions paint.

I started with a black Dylusions journaling tag, which I stenciled some polka dots onto with white paint.  I smeared some white paint around the polka dots, too.

These journaling tags are good-sized, so I was able to cut three notebook covers out of the tag.  Next I added strips of Dyary tape and Dylusions Washi tape.  After than, I smeared on Dylusions paint in a variety of colors.

I stamped some words from the Dylusions Say it How it Is stamp set and glued them onto a square of black and white patterned paper.  I also added some more smears of paint.

I made little scallop embellishments by stamping text from 49 & Market's Stamp Set 2: Captured Adventures onto white cardstock, then cutting it into scallop shapes and outlining it with a black Sharpie.

I outlined my sentiment boxes with a Uniball white Signo pen and then sewed the covers to the notebooks, along with sewing some straight line designs onto the notebook backgrounds.  I also added some black dots to the bottom of the sewed lines.

Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:
