Snapping Monsters Stamps: Color Wheel Stamp

Hello, hello!  Just thought I'd do a quick post to show a card I made with the Color Wheel stamp that comes in my new Artistic Essentials stamp set, which is sold through my Etsy shop.  You can look at my introductory post about the stamp set which shows the images in detail.

I made this card using my color wheel stamp in the background along with a bird stencil I cut.  The paper is my favorite Prima line ever (Epiphany) which is now retired.  I also threw on the grid line stamp from the set (at the base of the card) and the "She spoke of happy things" stamp in the background.

The sentiments are cut from an old book (the bird phrase is a shout out to you, Mimi!) and I colored the color wheel stamp by smudging Distress Ink on the squares, then cutting out the whole wheel and sticking it to the patterned paper base, which I also inked up.

Thanks to all those who've been so supportive of this stamp set and my projects.  I'm always uplifted by the creative energy of others.  And since it is Memorial Day Weekend, I want to close with my gratitude to those who've bravely gone before us and whose sacrifices have given me the gift of peace and freedom.  I feel very blessed to live where I do with the people that I love.
