Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Tag using Waffle Flower's Ink Pad Swatching Dies, Tim Holtz's Specimen Dies, and Carabelle Studio's Chromatique Grunge Stamps

Tag It is the theme of the week at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.  I made a mini tag using some very versatile dies from Waffle Flower and Tim Holtz.

I started by cutting my shapes out of Strathmore Mixed Media paper.  The Waffle Flower die set comes with dies to be able to swatch out your ink collection, but I thought the basic tag shape was fantastic even on its own.  I used that for the background and cut out the slide and tab shapes from Tim Holtz's Specimen dies set.

I stamped some text background on the slide frame using Tim Holtz's Theories stamp set and I stamped a circle design on the tag using Carabelle Studio's Chromatique Grunge stamp set.  Then I added some paint and some scribbling with Distress Watercolor pencils.

I threw in a number line from Tim Holtz's Snippets set and glued them all together with just a little more paint added here and there.  I decided to go with a safety pin for something different to top my tag with.
