Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Easter Card using Papertrey Ink's Perfectly Coiled Rectangles Dies and Memory Box's Fringed Scalloped Frame Set Dies

This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge theme is Hip Hop.  You can go in a hip hop music direction or a bunny-hoppy-Easter direction.  I decided to go with an Easter card.

I started with this fun patterned paper from Pink and Main called Colorful Ink Spots.  I cut it into a scalloped rectangle shape using a Memory Box die.  Then I whipped out my Hero Arts Egg Infinity Die Set and cut out an egg.  As you keen-eyed observers may note, I ended up using the outside frame part of the egg shape instead of the egg pictured below.  I also painted some dots onto deli paper using Dina Wakley's Dotted Tape stencil.

I painted the background with a bit of white paint and cut out a loopy coiled frame from Papertrey Ink.  I painted that as well.  I used some strips of Doodlebug washi tape and typed my sentiment out on a typewriter.

I put everything together and this card was done!

Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:
