"Oodles of Doodles" is this week's theme for our Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. I turned to two Doodling Divas for help with this project: Jane Davenport and Dina Wakley.
I started with Strathmore Mixed Media paper, some Tim Holtz Washi tape, and some scraps of Dina Wakley's Just Words collage paper.
Next I stenciled in some circles using My Favorite Things' Wonky Dots stencil and acrylic paint.
I smeared on more colors using both acrylic paint and my Prima Water Soluble Oil Pastels. once my background was colored, I stamped on this gorgeous girl using Jane Davenport's Fluent Fantastic stamp set. I made my girl a crown and finished the tag off by stamping the words "we rise" a few times. Such a great message from Dina Wakley's Everyone is Welcome stamp set.

My Cards and Tags: Botanical Tags using Paper Rose's Wildflowers 2 and Baby Blue Leaf Small Dies
This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog theme is Beautiful Botanicals. I used some fabulous floral dies from Paper Rose and Sizzix to make these cards.
I started by cutting these floral shapes and finger-painting them with acrylic paint. I also cut some rectangular cards out of some patterned paper (Reminiscence).
While the paint was drying on the flowers, I did some stenciling and splattering on the patterned paper. I used Seth Apter's Izink Glaze with the stencils and splattered some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray onto each card.
All that was left was the assembly part! I glued the floral cuts onto the cards using my trusty UHU glue stick. The die below is Wildflowers 2, which I think is stunning and which has been very versatile.
For the flower on the card below, I combined Paper Rose's Baby Blue Leaf Small die with a die from Sizzix's Stackable Florals set.
One thing that I like to do is outline my die cuts with black Sharpie to make them stand out better. That's what I did on each of these floral elements.
