This week's theme at our Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Weddings/Anniversaries. I thought I'd give a shout-out to flower girls with this mini-notebook revamp.
I started with a Prima passport-sized mixed media notebook and some Prima Fruit Paradise paper that I glued to a piece of Strathmore Mixed Media paper.
I painted the cover with white paint, Prima Impasto paint in shades of mint and teal, then added some yellow and green with Prima Water Soluble Oil pastels.
I added a border to the bottom, some circle stenciling and a Dina Wakley stamp.
I got out my Prima watercolors and added more shades of green, pink and yellow. When that dried, I attached a Tim Holtz paperdoll and some fabric to the side of the cover. I outlined the edges with a black Sharpie.
I sewed my cover onto the notebook with my sewing machine and added a fabric banner that said "Bliss."
