I started out with the aforementioned Strathmore Mixed Media paper in black. I stamped and heat-embossed some Paper Artsy images onto it with white embossing powder.
I stenciled some dots onto the tag using white paint and an Altenew stencil. Then I smooshed on more white paint and some other colors of acrylic paint.
While that was drying, I stamped and cut out some trees, also from Paper Artsy. I added some Tim Holtz Washi tape to the trees and colored them.
As is often the case with my projects, the background became too busy for the images in the forefront, so I whited out a section of the background so the trees would stand out better. They needed more color, so I made another tag that I stamped and colored (on white paper this time) then I tore it up so I'd have some scraps to add to the trees.
I glued the scraps onto the trees and then stamped and cut out a fantastic quote from a Tim Holtz stamp set and added that on.
