I started by cutting some circles using Penny Black's Abstract Flowers die, the Sizzix Big Shot and Strathmore Mixed Media paper. I love the wonky circles in this set that are so versatile.
Next I cut some ATC cards and stamped them with scallop shapes using Inky Antics' Scallop Background Builder set.
I painted the circles and cards with acrylic paint.
I added some white paint on top to tone down the color.
While the paint dried, I cut some skeletons out using the Surprise Skeleton die.
When my cards were dry, I glued the circles onto them, then sprinkled some Infusions stain onto everything and spritzed them with water.
While my cards dried, I cut around my skeletons and glued them onto the circles on the cards. I outlined the edges of the cards with black paint. I also stamped some Halloween text onto the background using Inky Antics' Happy Haunting stamp set and glued on more circles I'd cut and painted.
I thought about adding some Halloween sentiments, but decided to add some happy sunshiney words instead for some fun. And for one last bit of flair, I made hats and crowns for my skeletons.
