I started with Strathmore Mixed Media paper cut to ATC size. I sprayed my Darkroom Door mesh stencil with a few spritzes of Marabu Caribbean Art Spray then flipped the stencil over and pressed it onto my paper like a stamp. This gave me some nice lines and some "smooshy" areas.
For some color contrast, I drizzled some Jane Davenport Hydrangea ink onto the same stencil, then stamped it again (drippy ink side down).
Next I cut out some frames- one in the shape of a house and the other with a rounded top. I inked them and stamped text on them (Paper Artsy stamp for the text). I outlined my shapes with a black Sharpie and glued them on. Then I sprinkled some Infusions powder (Royal Blood) onto my cards and spritzed them with water.
From there, I scribbled around the edges with Prima Oil Pastel crayons and smudged them with some stumps. Then I added some great stamps and die shapes. For the one below, I used a figure stamped with Dina Wakley's Abstract Figures stamp set (fussy-cut and glued on) and surrounded the head with one of Seth Apter's Strands die shapes.
On the one below, I added some black wildflowers cut with a Tim Holtz die, then used one of the bigger Seth Apter Strands dies for the focal circle. Both cards have scraps of some black patterned paper I made by stamping images onto the black paper, then heat-embossing it with white powder.
