I cut the tags out of Strathmore Mixed Media paper and used Sugarpea Designs' With Love die. I laid the tags onto my 3" x 5" Gelliplate, which I'd covered with spots of acrylic paint.
I did this process with a few different color combos until each tag was covered.
You know I love me some color, but these were a little...camo-crazy-looking, so I added some white stenciling. I decided to go with pastel tones, so I added even more white paint in addition to the stenciling.
From here, it was just a matter of cutting more tags out of text paper and patterned paper and gluing the layers together. I also added on some hearts cut with MFT's Lots of Hearts dies, as well as other embellishments here and there.
I did add some acrylic paint to the background tags, then these tags were done!
