This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is to use ephemera/layer it up! I made a card with lots of layered goodness and ephemera:
I started by cutting some shapes using Elizabeth Crafts' Planner Cards 1 die set. Then I looked through the American Crafts' Whatevs Journaling Ephemera pack and found this name tag that I could relate to. Ha!
I painted the different pieces and also added some paper scraps from Amy Tangerine's Paper Play book and Dina Wakley's Ledger 1 paper. I also stamped some of the pieces with Elizabeth Crafts' Measurements stamp, Wendy Vecchi's Open Dots stamp and Trinity Stamps' Polkadot Background stamp. In addition to the pieces I cut, I also used a tab from AALL & Create's Rainbow Reflections ephemera pack.
I glued all my pieces together and in the end, I also added in a see-through flower piece from the Whatevs pack and threw on some Tim Holtz Cello Tape. A few scribbled lines here and there and this card was done!
