Welcome to March and another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week our theme is to make your own background. We're also featuring products from Tracy Evans. I used the Tracy Evans Quirky Birds stamp set for my tag.
I created my own background by painting, stamping and scribbling. I used Tim Holtz's Floral Elements and Halftone and Rings stamp sets. I added some scribbles with Distress Watercolor Pencils.
While that dried, I stamped and cut out the bird and the hearts, both from Tracy Evans' Quirky Birds stamp set. I colored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils and paint.
I cut my collaged paper into a tag shape using AALL & Create's Tag It Yourself die set and glued on the bird and the hearts. I made a crown for my bird and cut out the words "The Great" (if this is the bird king, after all) and glued them to the bird. I finished the tag off by flicking on some black Dina Wakley Media Gloss.
Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:

- Tim Holtz Stamp Sets: Floral Elements, Halftone & Rings
