Welcome to Monday and another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Our theme this week is "Beautiful Blooms." I used Dina Wakley's Bold Botanicals stamp set to create a tag trio:
I started by stamping Dina's images onto white paper using Ranger Archival Ink. Then I added some white paint.
Bring on the color! I used acrylic paint and Dina Wakley's Scribble Sticks to give these images some pow!
I cut some tags using Elizabeth Crafts' Tag Folding Trio die set and laid the leaves on top of the tags to see if the size worked. I traced around some of the leaf parts with a black pen to make them stand out. I also grabbed a piece of collage paper that I'd made for the "Make Your Own Background" challenge a few weeks ago.
I tore pieces of my collage and glued them to the tag backgrounds. Then I added more color and scribbling to them with some Distress Crayons.
Next I glued the leaves on top of the tags. I stamped some sentiments using Tim Holtz's THMM113 set and glued them to my tags to finish them off.
