Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Bit o' Green Tag using Elizabeth Crafts' Bloom File Folder

Welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!  This week's theme is to add a bit of green.  I even found a four-leaf clover that I added to the front of my tag, which should ensure some good luck as St. Patrick's Day rolls around!

I started by cutting out my tag shape using Elizabeth Crafts' Bloom File Folder die set.  I smooshed some blue acrylic paint on it and cut some pieces of fabric from Tim Holtz's Multi Collage Eclectic Elements Palette.  I used a circle punch to cut circles out of a piece of kraft cardstock and added white paint to it.

I glued the fabric to the tag and added color around the edges with watercolors and Distress Crayons.  I also used Distress Crayons on the kraft paper piece.  I cut a tab shape using Elizabeth Crafts' Floral Slots File Folder and colored that as well.

Next I glued the circle piece on top of the fabric background and added the tab to the top of the tag, outlining it with black pen to make it stand out.

I wanted another layer, so I cut a piece of Dina Wakley's Typed Quotes transparency paper.

I used Tim Holtz's Tiny Attacher to staple the transparency to the front of the tag.  Then I found this green-related sentiment in my stash.  I also found a four-leaf clover that I glued to the front of the tag, along with the sentiment.  This tag was done!  Here is a shot of it from a different angle to show the sentiment and clover more clearly.

Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:
