I started by stamping some letters and dots onto my tags using Embossing Ink. Then I sprinkled white embossing powder on and shot them with the heat gun.
After that, I water-colored over the surface of the tags. While that dried, I got some fabric scraps and made the green and teal trees. I like using Tim Holtz's Petal Drop die to make triangle trees (I cut the curved portion off the bottom).
I made a pink triangle, too, and heat-embossed some white circles onto it. After that, it was just a matter of gluing all my layers down. I used a great Fa La La die from Reverse Confetti as my focal point for the big tag.
I added a star to the top of the tree and smudged around it with Mustard Yellow Distress Ink to give it a glow. I also added polka-dot Washi tape tree pots.
On the smaller tag, I used Seth Apter's Coffee Ring dies in the background and glued on some mini pom-pom trim I had in my stash. I did the same star technique on this tag, too. I outlined areas on both tags with a black Sharpie.
I enjoyed making these tags, which got me in the snowy spirit of the season! Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:
