My Other Creations: Scrap Tag Books using Tim Holtz's Quote Chips
"E is for...." is this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog theme. I decided to go with "encouragement" by making these little scrap tag books with positive sayings.
The covers of these books are tags folded in half. I decorated the covers with paint and some stenciling, then sewed some paper inside of them. They're embellished with some scallop shapes cut with Jane Davenport's Unicorn die and some Quote Chips from Tim Holtz.
Here are the supplies I used, which you can find at Simon Says Stamp:

My Cards and Tags: Handle with Care Tag using Stamperia's Cosmos, Astronomy and Numbers Stencil
Adding some texture is this week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. We're also featuring some great products from Stamperia. Here's the tag I created:
I started by stenciling some white paint onto Stathmore Mixed Media paper. I used Stamperia's Cosmos, Astronomy and Numbers stencil.
Next I sprayed on some Dylusions Calypso Teal Shimmer Spray and some Dylusions Black Marble. I removed some of it with a baby wipe, then spritzed on some Dina Wakley Olive spray. I also threw in some Sleight Blue Infusions color stain.
I dried the tag off with my heat tool then smudged on some acrylic paint for more color. I also stenciled some black dots using black paint and Tim Holtz's Halftone stencil.
Next I turned to Dina Wakley's Collage Collective book and cut out some ring-shaped scraps that I glued to my tag.
I did some scribbling in the background with Prima Water Soluble Oil Pastels and glued on another Dina scrap to pull in some orangey-red. I also cut out a scallop-shape border to top the tag.
I splattered on some white Amsterdam Acrylic ink and finished this off with a "Handle With Care" sign from Tim Holtz's Urban ephemera pack.
