My Cards and Tags: Great Day Tag using Halftone & Rings, Glitch 2 and Grunged Stamp Sets

Happy 10th Birthday to Simon Says Stamp!  To celebrate, our theme for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is "Happy Birthday."  We're also highlighting products from Stampers Anonymous.

I started with a tag using Strathmore Mixed Media paper and I stamped it with several images from Stampers Anonymous stamp sets (Halftone & Rings, Grunged, and Glitch 2).

I colored some of the areas in using Distress Crayons and smeared around the color with water and a paintbrush.  This is before I added water.

I liked the scribble, but decided it was not where I wanted the focal point to be, so I painted over it with white paint and stamped it again with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.  I cut a circle out of Dina Wakley's Collage book and glued some Altenew black and white polka dot paper on, too.

I added some black paint around the edge of the tag and glued on a girl, a pointy party hat, and a sentiment from Dylusions and this tag was done!
