My Cards and Tags: Frankie Party Time Tag using My Favorite Things' Trendy Tag and Tim Holtz's Ghoulish Die

"Frame It" is this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge theme, so frame it I did!  I made this Frankie tag and positioned him so he looks like he's carrying his own frame to the party.

I was feeling the yen to do some gelli printing, so I got out my gel plate, some paint, and my Dina Wakley Spaced Dots stencil.  This is how my printings turned out:

I took a small section and cut a tag shape out of it using my Sizzix Big Shot and My Favorite Things' Trendy Tag die (it comes with a tag and with the scalloped frame).  I glued down some Tim Holtz Typeset Collage paper just to get the background going...somewhere.

From here, it was just a matter of cutting out a Frankie using black paper and Tim Holtz's Ghoulish die.  I painted the frame green and teal, added black paint around the edges, gave Frankie a party hat and this tag was looking done.  To finish it off, I splattered a bit of Dina Wakley's Ocean Gloss Spray onto the tag and added a "Party Time" sign from the Dylusions Back Chat sticker set.

Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:
