I'm not quite sure where May went, but we are wrapping it up pretty quickly! And with a new week comes another new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge theme: weddings or anniversaries. I decided to go with one of my favorite Henry Wadsworth Longfellow love quotes, which I put on a bookmark.
I cut out the tall tag shape using a die set from Gina K Designs called "Beautiful Bookmarks." I collaged the bookmark then decided to add some textural oomph with a piece of Odile Bailloeul Festival fabric.
The image on the fabric was actually a hot air balloon, but when I turned it upside down, it reminded me of a roof of some whimsical house, so that's kind of the look I went with. I glued that to my collage then did some additional stamping and scribbling. I typed the Longfellow quote on my typewriter and glued that on to finish off the bookmark.
Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp:

- Odile Bailloeul Festival Fat Quarter Fabric Bundle
