Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Tag using Kate Crane Paper Artsy KC006 Stamp

Happy Monday (it's possible, right?) and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!  Our theme this week is "things with wings".  I added wings to this quirky character from Kate Crane to make my tag.

I started by cutting a chunky checker frame from Whimsy Stamps and a wreath shape from Tim Holtz.  Then I stamped and colored my main image (from Kate Crane) using Distress Watercolor Pencils.  I also cut a tag shape from AALL & Create.

I painted the frame and rings and collaged a background for my tag.  I also fussy-cut around my quirky character.

I glued everything together and stamped out a sentiment from Tim Holtz's Theories stamp set and added that on for a final touch.
