This is what I started out with: Dina's tags cut from the collage book and some patterned paper that I cut into circles and circle-frames.
From here, it was just a matter of gluing the layers on, then adding paint (white and different colors) here and there along with more tiny paper scraps.
I've always liked Dina Wakley's aesthetic (and I adore her acrylic paints) and it's been interesting to watch her style change over the years. She always brings something refreshing to the table. What I like about this Collage Collective book is that the paper in it can give you something to start with and build on.
The inspiring words are also from Dina Wakley (her "All the Gals" stamp set).
